Vic State Investigations ('VSI') came about in 2010 after a successful 15 year investigative career in the Victorian Police Force, where investigative skills and techniques were honed after time spent in the Drug Squad, Regional Response Unit (Undercover/Plain Clothes work), General Duties and the last 6 years as a Regional Hostage and Siege Negotiator. Since leaving the Police Force, VSI has branched out into investigation work spanning all sectors of the investigation industry, and currently provides investigative services to the State Government, Local Government, and Corporate & Public sectors.
Government work (State and Local) include investigations into the building industry on behalf of the Victorian Building Authority (formerly the Building Commission), Victorian Work Cover Authority, Architects Registration Board of Victoria, putting unscrupulous builders before the Courts or before the Building Practitioners Board for an inquiry.
Current Corporate work includes investigations on behalf of a number of international companies including Polo Ralph Lauren, Puma, Holden, Honda, Everlast and Lonsdale, with the main focus being protecting their brand's integrity and intellectual property rights, with a view to seizure of counterfeit goods and ultimate prosecution. We have also carried out many successful investigations on behalf of the St Vincent Group of Hospitals (Melbourne) into drug thefts, theft of property from staff and patients, damage to Hospital property and even unearthed a doctor from another hospital who decided to fill his bogus pharmaceutical scripts at one of the St Vincent hospitals instead of his own....!!!??
